Legal Disclaimer
The Anthem International Music Festival (IMF) is protected property of Anthem Entertainment, its parent company and related subsidiaries. Any use of the name International Music Festival, images, logos or content from this website without written permission is strictly prohibited. Violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The musical content is property of the individual artists and is used by Anthem Entertainment for marketing and promotional purposes only.
The Anthem International Music Festival is open to everyone regardless of age, race, sex, citizenship, musical experience and current residence. Participants are allowed to enter any opening round throughout North America regardless of where they currently reside. Participants can enter more than once should they choose as long as they meet the requirements for participation. Certain venues will restrict age access to "18+" or "21+" and that venue reserves the right to not allow entry to anyone under their stated age limit. In most cases, performers can be of any age as long as they adhere to local liquor laws and the venue's house rules. Check with a IMF representative if you have any questions. The festival is open to everyone, but the festival events need to always follow venue rules, preferences and restrictions.
In order to participate there is NO ENTRY fee but there is a 10 ticket minimum pre-sale for all events, except for the finals of major markets (as deemed by Anthem Entertainment) that have three rounds. Tickets may be purchased in bulk by the artist/band or by individuals/fans.
International travel: - If an artist/band/group is selected as the North American champion and granted the right to play abroad, accommodations and travel will be provided for ALL BAND/GROUP MEMBERS. Anthem Entertainment will attempt to assist up to three (3) other people that wish to travel with the band/group but all expenses are solely the responsibility of the individuals. Examples of help can include but are not guaranteed to be; assistance with how to obtain proper travel documents and immunizations, accommodations if extra space is available, ability to coordinate travel with the musicians/crew, but at the individuals expense, and additional support while aborad. Any additional individuals wishing to travel with the band/group will have to make their own travel arrangements. Again, Anthem Entertainment will only provide travel and accommodations for the band/group members. The band/group members must stay in the hotel rooms or other accommodations that are provided for them.
- The band/group must travel on the days that the International Music Festival requires. The international performance dates have been booked far in advance.
- Vaccine shots, passports and other international traveling documents are required by U.S. and International law and they are the responsibility of the individuals traveling, not Anthem Entertainment or any companies, sponsors or supporters related to the International Music Festival. Basically, just get your shots, your passport, have no warrants for your arrest and everything will be fine. Proof of travel documentation for all band members will need to be provided twelve (12) weeks prior to the departure date.
- Travel to and from the airport in the city of origin (in the US or Canada) is the responsibility of the individuals traveling.
- What equipment can and cannot be traveled with will be discussed with the winning band/group/artist after the North American finals. There is no guarantee that all pieces of equipment can be flown internationally.
- The per diem payment for food will be determined by Anthem Entertainment upon arrival in the foreign country.
- All other expenses, incidentals, souvenirs and similar purchases are the responsibility of the individual.
- Anthem Entertainment is not responsible for changes in United States travel laws nor that of any foreign country that the band members will travel to. The United States State Department, Customs Department, the TSA and foreign governments have the right to change the rules and laws of travel. The company will do its best to keep up to date on any changes and inform all individuals traveling as soon as possible.
Three domestic tour dates for all participants: - Travel expenses are not included for acts wishing to take advantage of the three (3) shows in any IMF markets.
- The three (3) IMF events must be in the six months after the current International Music Festival ends. Likewise, there is no guarantee that Anthem Entertainment will be able to obtain every show, on every date requested by bands (but we will try).
Recording or video package:
- If Anthem Entertainment is unable to provide a recording package to the regional winner for whatever reason a $100 cash prize will be instituted in its place. The packages are generous donations from IMF sponsors. However, any expiration date, studio use of records and problems with sound quality are discussions between the individual artists and the studio.
Liability: Performance is at your own risk. By signing up for the International Music Festival should you injure yourself or others during any part of a performance, travel to and from the venue, loading in or out equipment you agree that the resulting injury is your own fault.
Show etiquette: It is expected that all band/group members be on time for load in and their performance time slot. Failure to load in at the deemed time or to start or end a performance at the stated time is grounds from removal from the line up or disqualification from the festival. There are no refunds unless an event is canceled. In other words, just be on time!
Video, recording, and photographs: Anthem Entertainment reserves the right to photograph, record and videotape any International Music Festival performances. However, under no circumstances will your music, likeness or video be sold or used for anything aside from marketing and promotional material. Any bands/groups/artists that are or become signed can request to have their music or images removed from Internet or print marketing materials, websites or promotional campaigns. It is your music - not ours. The festival just wants to show the best of the best from the festival and the world what you got.
