The Perks: What you GET...

The IMF will benefit all participants, city, regional and final winners at different levels.

Grand Prize:
One (1) act will receive:

  • A performance engagement on the IMF World Tour, encompassing major cities in international locations: several performances – in varying venues - in Africa are confirmed for the 2010 festival. Additional shows, including tentative plans for stops in Amsterdam and London will be determined at a later date. May include any or all of the following:
    • UCT performance, outdoor jam session
    • On-air radio performance(s), live sets and interviews
    • Phoenix performance
    • TBD club performance
    • International Music Festival performance
    • Two scheduled townships performances
    • Kirstenboch Gardens, Sunday concert
    • Waterfront Amphitheater
    • And more!
  • While on tour, the opportunity to perform multiple additional shows at club-level circuit.
  • All international travel, international airfare and hotel expenses paid for your tour... plus a daily per diem in the applicable foreign currency!
  • Permanent online placement. Bios, audio samples, photos and more from each year's winning artists will be permanently archived on the IMF website.
  • An EP recording session.
  • Multiple video sessions that captures the true essence of music .
  • Feedback sessions with industry professionals on international self promotion and marketing.

Second Prize:
One (1) runner-up act will receive:

  • A performance engagement on the IMF World Tour.
  • The opportunity to perform multiple additional shows on tour, at club-level circuit.
  • Hotel accommodations and daily per diem for world tour. (Act is responsible for travel expenses and all additional expenditures.)
  • Permanent online placement. Bios, audio samples, photos and more from each year's winning artists will be permanently archived on the IMF website.
  • An EP recording session.

Finalists Prize:
All six (6) finalists will receive:

  • Permanent online placement. Bios, audio samples, photos and more from each year's winning artists will be permanently archived on the IMF website.
  • An EP recording session.
  • Opportunity to judge in the next year's festival

City Winner Prize:
Approximately Seventy (70) market winners will receive:

  • Permanent online placement. Bios, audio samples, photos and more from each year's winning artists will be permanently archived on the IMF website.
    Remember, even if you do not advance to the Finals, this is an opportunity to expose your music to thousands!
  • Small cash prize - in selected markets.

ALL PARTICIPANTS:
All participants in the IMF series will receive access to Anthem Entertainment's extensive collection of live music resources. Anthem organizes hundreds of smaller events and music shows in cities nationwide every night. All participants will be offered the opportunity to book up to three (3) shows - distributed between any IMF participating cities - simply for competing. That means three (3) more GUARANTEED GIGS, simply for participating in the IMF series in cities of your choice. You have up to six months from the end date of the IMF that you participated in to book these shows.
